Andy Rankin

Rankin was Watford’s first choice goal keeper for most of the 1970’s era. Known to be an athletic keeper in goal, in total he notched up a staggering 329 appearances playing for the club. The only other goal keeper to have played for Watford on more occasions is Skilly Williams.

Ross Jenkins

Jenkins was one half of a prolific strike partnership, the other component being Luther Blissett. Jenkins moved to Watford for the start of the 1972-73 season and became a fans favourite at the club. He spent eleven blistering seasons at the club, his great performances helped Watford to promotion to the first division from the forth tier of English football. In total he made 398 appearances for the club, scoring at a prolific rate of 142 goals.
